Terms of Service

Agreement

These terms apply when you use qiok.net, operated by Youzai Board Game Club. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The service

We offer free online board games that you can play as a guest or with an account. We may add, change or remove features, and the service may be unavailable during maintenance or because of faults. It is provided as it is, without any guarantee of availability.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• Keep your password and recovery code safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• An account is for one person. Do not share, sell or transfer it.

Fair play and conduct

You agree not to:

• use game engines or outside help in rated games;
• manipulate ratings, for example by losing on purpose or playing yourself with several accounts;
• harass, threaten or insult other players, or post hateful, sexual, illegal or spam content;
• attack, overload or probe the service, or access it with automated tools.

Enforcement

If these rules are broken we may mute, suspend or ban an account, block an IP address, and correct ratings gained unfairly. You will be told the reason and how long it lasts, and you can appeal from your account page.

Your content

What you write in chat and messages remains yours. You allow us to store and display it as needed to run the service. Game records, ratings and leaderboard positions may be shown publicly.

Advertising

The site may show advertising, including advertising provided by third parties.

No monetary value

Ratings, titles and any in-game items have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money. The site does not offer gambling.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost data, or interruptions of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law does not allow to be limited.

Changes and ending use

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site means you accept it. You can stop using the site and delete your account at any time.
